The 2025 Strengthening Disability Advocacy Conference
ADEC’s Advocacy Team is proud to present at the 2025 Strengthening Disability Advocacy Conference
This year’s theme, “Impacts of Advocacy in Local Communities,” resonates deeply with our 42+ years of commitment to empowering diverse communities across Victoria. Our team will be sharing insights on the quiet yet powerful work of Disability Advocates – from initiating vital research projects and building community networks to fostering individual capacity in advocacy journeys.
In anticipation of Australia’s once-in-a-lifetime disability reform, this conference is a crucial opportunity to:
✅ Showcase successful projects and community networks.
✅ Highlight strategies that improve access to services.
✅ Emphasize person-centred disability advocacy and collaboration.
✅ Share best practices to create positive change and build capacity in communities.
We believe every voice matters, and effective advocacy is key to empowering people with disabilities to achieve their full potential.
