Types of Group Services

High Needs Groups
- Seniors and people with disabilities (may use a walking aid e.g., walking frame etc.)
- Socially isolated
- From a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Background (CALD)
- Referrals accepted mainly through My Aged Care

Carer Groups
- Someone who is a carer of a person with a disability/mental health concern.
- Socially isolated
- From a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Background (CALD).
- Referral/self-referred who believes that an individual will benefit from the support group.

Mental Health & Wellbeing Groups
- People diagnosed as experiencing mental illness who are under the care of a psychiatrist, general medical practitioner, or a mental health worker.
- Referral/self-referred who believes that an individual will benefit from the support group.
- From a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Background (CALD).

Types of Group Activities
We offer both informative and fun activities. Currently, we have groups for Afghani, Arabic, Chinese, Turkish, Vietnamese, and Japanese communities. All groups meet monthly and all activities are delivered face to face.
