Celebrating Artists
ArtAbility® is an art program run by ADEC that started in 2006. It unites and celebrates talented artists with disabilities, or from culturally diverse backgrounds.
The program hosts art workshops where participants learn new skills and create artwork for a public exhibition. ArtAbility® promotes the message of ability, strength in diversity, and personal empowerment through community engagement. Participants are recognised as artists by their peers, families, and the wider community.

Eligibility Criteria
The ArtAbility workshops are FREE for:
- Seniors
- People living with a disability diagnosed/undiagnosed
- Carers
- People from culturally diverse backgrounds
- LGBTIQIA+
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
