NDIS Made Simple: Stress-Free NDIS Plan Management with ADEC

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is designed to provide critical support and funding for people living with disabilities. But managing your NDIS funding comes with several challenges.

The NDIS is a complex system that can be tough to understand. Developing a comprehensive and realistic NDIS Plan that meets all your needs and goals can be another major challenge.

You may also need to coordinate services from different NDIS providers, and ensure they work together effectively. Dealing with the NDIS online portal can be another headache if you’re not exactly tech savvy.

Here’s the good news:

ADEC can help solve these problems for you. Our NDIS Plan Management Services take the burden off you, simplify your NDIS journey, and empower you to make the best decisions for your support needs.

And best of all, our Plan Management Services are built into your NDIS Plan at no cost to you.

Here’s how it works:

1. Gain control over your funding

You’ll work closely with a skilled ADEC Plan Manager to come up with an NDIS support plan that meets all your personal needs. Our friendly Plan Managers can connect you with a wider range of NDIS services to help you get the most out of your funding.

But you’re the boss. You have the authority to decide how to use your NDIS funds and to choose your service providers, whether they are NDIS registered or not. We’re just here to provide the support, information, advice, and help you need to make the best decision for you.

2. Leave the admin work to ADEC

Our skilled Plan Managers will look after all the paperwork for you. We manage your NDIS claims for you via the NDIS portal, maintain your records, and monitor your NDIS budget. We also provide you with monthly statements, so you’ll always know exactly what’s happening with your NDIS funding.

And we speak your language. We can arrange a free interpreter so you always feel heard and in control, and all our skilled NDIS Plan Managers are culturally sensitive. In fact, we’ve been providing disability services to people from culturally diverse communities since 1982.

3. Enjoy hassle-free NDIS payments

We also look after payments to your NDIS service providers on your behalf. We simplify the often complex task of paying your service providers, and ensure they receive timely and accurate payments so your support services are never interrupted by late or missing payments.

ADEC’s swift payment commitment means we settle invoices within three to five working days. That’s way faster than the industry average, so you can rest easy in the knowledge that all your NDIS accounts are being expertly managed.

How to get started

To access ADEC’s NDIS Plan Management services, simply express your interest during your planning meeting with NDIS staff.

They will allocate funding to cover the cost of your ADEC Plan Manager. This is separate from your budget for other services, so your current level of support will not be affected.

Or if you’re already in the middle of your plan and wish to make changes, please call the NDIS on 1800 800 110 to discuss how to incorporate ADEC Plan Management into your existing plan.

Your care, your choice

Government-funded Home Care Packages

Government-funded Home Care Packages aim to help people aged 65 years and over to access the in-home care and support you need to live safely and independently in your own home for as long as possible.

Aged Care Assessment Team

The Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) will assess your eligibility for a Home Care Package, and an ADEC Care Manager will work with you to create a Care Plan that suits your long-term needs and preferences.

But you’ll always be in the driver’s seat. You decide how to spend your government funding on the coordinated care that best fits your personal needs – now and in the future. It’s all about putting the choice and flexibility to direct your care in your hands.

A Personalised Aged Care Helper

Our personalised Home Care Packages have been designed to meet your individual needs. Whether you’re looking for friendly wellness checks or need active help with dressing, showering and toileting from an experienced aged care helper, we can provide the level of personal care you need to stay in your home.

Our support workers can bring a high level of professional care directly into your home. We can help with household tasks like meal preparation, assist you with managing your medication, or improve your quality of life with continence management.

Or if you’re just looking for professional advice and assistance to prepare your living environment for your next stage of life, we can help with that too. We can provide expert advice and assistance to make your home safer and easier to live in.

Aged Care Case Managers

You can rely on our team of Aged Care Case Managers to support your independent living. Led by compassionate professionals like Asma, Lakhveer, Mary, Roshani, and Samantha, they are dedicated to assisting you with essential services and everyday household tasks. Additionally, they actively encourage social activities, ensuring you can go shopping, visit family and friends, attend exercise classes, or enjoy some time at a local café. Furthermore, they can assist you in procuring aides and equipment, enabling you to comfortably age in place while preserving your independence and dignity. Our Case Managers can also arrange for our in-house Registered Nurse, Monica, to visit you if there are any changes in your health or care needs. With the guidance and care of these empathetic case managers, you can embrace a fulfilling and enriched lifestyle during your golden years.

Domestic bliss with ADEC

Sometimes all you need is a little help around your home. ADEC offers a range of domestic support services – from light housework tasks to light gardening and minor home maintenance – that will keep your home nice and pleasant.

Maintaining your mobility is important too. We can help you stay as active as possible around your home with movement and mobility support, and we can help you identify and access the best mobility aids and equipment for your personal needs.  And if you require in-home respite care or companionship, a friendly aged care helper will be here for you with day visits or overnight stays.

Understanding the Fee Schedule

We designed our fee schedule–the fees and charges associated with the home care packages we offer–with your needs in mind. The packages are categorised into four levels: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4, each catering to different care requirements, from basic to high-level needs. Each level is associated with a specific funding amount, which is allocated by My Aged Care. We will work with you and your assigned package to ensure that all your needs and requirements are met. For your convenience, the fee schedule outlines the hourly rates of our support workers based on the required services. Additionally, it provides a comprehensive list of all costs and fees for each level of service, ensuring there are no surprises or hidden costs in the pricing.

Connecting with Community

Community connection is important through all stages of life, but staying engaged with community events and services can become more challenging as we age. That’s why ADEC provides a selection of community access services to help keep you out and about.

We can connect you with independent or assisted transport services, and help support you on outings like shopping or attending activities or appointments. But community connection is about much more than shopping trips and doctor visits. ADEC can also support you to access a wide range of community-based recreational, educational and vocational activities to help ensure you’re getting the most out of life.
